Reply to an invitation and answer the questions

As a guest, say whether you’re coming, answer the organizer’s questions, and change your answers while they’re open.

What you will achieve

The organizer has your reply and your ideas for the song.

Before you start

  • Open the invitation link you received, or the join link or code the organizer shared. You don’t need a Sonize account.
  • Use only your own invitation link. It opens your personal guest page.

On the web

    Open your invitation. Under Will you be there?, choose Going, Maybe, or Not going.

    If other people are coming with you, open Guests & preferences (optional), add your extra guests and any needs, then choose Save details.

  3. 3

    Before your first answer, tick both boxes under Before you contribute and choose Continue. The songs are made with AI, so this permission is needed to take part.

    In Shape the song, choose who the song is about. Music preferences are optional: you can choose Let the organizer decide.

  5. 5

    Answer the questions one at a time. Choose Next to continue, or Skip for an optional question. Add a photo, audio or video (up to 25 MB) only when asked.

    On Review your answers, check everything, then choose Submit. Later, choose Edit answers to change them while the questionnaire is open.

Expected result

Your guest page shows Thank you!, or Your answers are with the organizer if they are read before the song is made.

Important

Your invitation link is personal. Do not share it, and never include it, your answers or your photos in a message to support.

Fix a problem

Problem: The questionnaire is closed.

What to doThe closing date has passed or the event is over. Only the organizer can reopen answers, so contact them directly.

Problem: You see Your answers are with the organizer.

What to doYour answers get a quick read before the song is made. You have nothing else to do, and you can still use Edit answers while the questionnaire is open.

Problem: Your link no longer works.

What to doAsk the organizer for a new link. A link stops working if the organizer resets it or cancels the event.

Problem: You cannot change whether you’re coming.

What to doYou can change your reply until the event starts. Once it is live, contact the organizer.
