Find and play songs on your TV
Use your TV remote to choose a song, search, control playback and follow the lyrics.
What you will achieve
You can sing along to your songs on the big screen.
Before you start
- Pair the TV with your account. Its home screen shows Connected.
- Create a song on your phone or computer and wait until it’s ready. The TV only shows songs that can play.
On the web

On the TV home screen, use the arrows on your remote to pick a song from Karaoke or Your songs, then press the center button.

To find another song, select Search, then select the search field or Voice search to open the TV keyboard. Type a title, or use the keyboard’s microphone if your TV has one.

Control the song with the on-screen buttons or your remote’s play/pause, rewind and fast-forward keys. Rewind and fast-forward jump 15 seconds.

Follow the lyrics on screen. When the lyrics timing has been checked, you can select a line to jump to it. Estimated timing means the lyrics follow the song only roughly.
Expected result
The song plays with its lyrics, the screen stays on, and the next song from Your songs starts when it ends.
Important
Anyone using the paired TV can see and play your songs. Unpair a shared or public TV when you’re done.
Fix a problem
Problem: A song doesn’t appear on the TV.
What to doThe TV shows only songs that are ready to play, and the home screen lists only your latest songs. Wait a minute for the list to refresh, or use Search.
Problem: The TV says Pairing expired.
What to doSelect Pair a TV to return to the home screen, then approve the new code from your phone or computer.
Problem: A key on your remote does nothing.
What to doUse the on-screen buttons instead: move to one with the arrows and press the center button. Some remotes have no play/pause or rewind keys.
Problem: You want to use your phone as the remote.
What to doThis isn’t possible yet. Sonize does not turn your phone into a TV remote, so use the TV remote.
