Choose a sign-in method

What you will achieve

You can sign in to your Sonize account in the way that suits you.

Before you start

Have the email address of your Sonize account at hand. Every method shown opens the same account. If you created it with Apple and Continue with Apple is not shown, use a sign-in link instead.

On the web

Enter your Email and Password, then click Sign in.

To sign in without a password, click Email me a sign-in link instead, enter your email, then click Email me a sign-in link to get a single-use link that is valid for 15 minutes.

Open the email from Sonize, click the link, then click Sign in with this link.

You can also click Continue with Google or Continue with Apple, if these buttons are shown.

If two-factor authentication is turned on, Sonize then shows the screen that asks for your code. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app, or click Use a recovery code.

Expected result

Sonize opens your account, usually on the page you were trying to reach.

Important

Only approve a Google or Apple prompt, or open a sign-in link, if you started the sign-in yourself. Sonize will never ask you to forward a sign-in link.

Fix a problem

Problem: Your password is refused.

What to doCheck your email address, then choose Forgot password? to set a new one. After too many failed tries you have to wait a few minutes; resetting your password unblocks you straight away.

Problem: The sign-in link doesn’t work.

What to doIt may have expired or already been used. Ask for a new one and open only the most recent email. The link signs in the device on which you open it.

Problem: Sonize says an account already uses this email.

What to doSign in with the method you used first, for example your password or a sign-in link.

Problem: The Google or Apple button is missing.
