Getting started

Change the language and use accessibility settings

Choose one of Sonize’s 10 languages and use your device’s accessibility settings.

What you will achieve

Sonize appears in the language you choose and follows your accessibility settings.

Before you start

  • On the web, save your changes in Settings first: changing the language reloads the page.

On the web

  1. 1

Open your profile menu and click Settings.

  2. 2

On the Account tab, find Language and pick your language from the list. Each language is shown in its own name, for example Français or Deutsch.

  3. 3

The page reloads in the new language. If Sonize warns about unsaved settings, click Continue to drop them, or cancel and save them first.

  4. 4

To make text bigger, use your browser’s zoom. Sonize also follows your system’s reduced-motion setting and works with screen readers and the keyboard.

Expected result

Menus and messages appear in your language, and Sonize emails and notifications use it too.

Important

On the web, changing the language reloads the page. Save your changes in Settings before you switch.

Fix a problem

Problem: Some text is still in the old language.

What to doReload the page, or close and reopen the app. Content written by people, such as song lyrics, is not translated.

Problem: Text is cut off, or a button is hard to reach with large text.

What to doScroll the screen or turn your phone sideways. If it still happens, tell support which screen it is and which text size you use.

Problem: You are not signed in.

What to doOn the web, use the language menu at the bottom of public pages, such as the home page.
