Choose who writes the lyrics, or speak your idea

Let Sonize write lyrics you can edit, paste your own, or say your idea out loud in the mobile app.

What you will achieve

Your song uses lyrics you have read and approved.

Before you start

  • Use only lyrics you wrote or have permission to use. Lyrics can be up to 5,000 characters.
  • Saying your idea out loud is only available in the mobile app. Your first few recordings are free; after that, each one uses a small number of credits.

On the web

    Choose Create in the menu and keep With vocals selected.

    Choose Write with AI to let Sonize write from your description, or I’ll write them to use your own lyrics.

  3. 3

    For your own lyrics, paste them in the Lyrics box. You can mark the parts with labels such as [Verse 1] or [Chorus].

    Click Choose the sound, pick a style, then click Preview lyrics or Create song.

  5. 5

    On Review lyrics, check every line, name and place, and fix anything before you create the song.

Expected result

The lyrics, or your spoken idea as text, are on screen and you can correct them before paying for the song.

Important

Your recording is turned into text by an AI service and is not kept. Don’t say passwords, codes or other private details while recording.

Fix a problem

Problem: Microphone access is off.

What to doAllow the microphone for Sonize in your phone’s settings, or type your idea instead.

Problem: The text has wrong words.

What to doCorrect the text directly in the box before you continue.

Problem: Pasted lyrics are cut off.

What to doLyrics are limited to 5,000 characters. Shorten them and keep only the parts you need.

Problem: A message says A real name could stop your song.

What to doThe music service refuses real artist, band and song names. Choose Replace and create to use the suggested wording, or Edit it myself.
