Create and export an AI playlist
Describe your event and Sonize picks real songs and puts them in order. Then save the playlist to your music service or keep a copy.
What you will achieve
You get a playlist of real songs for your event, ready to save or share.
Before you start
- AI playlists are included with the Plus plan and higher. Each playlist costs credits, and the cost is shown before you start.
- Think about the occasion, how long the event lasts and the mood you want. Genres, artists and other preferences are optional.
On the web
- 1
Open AI playlists in the menu and click New playlist.
- 2
Name the playlist, choose the occasion and the duration, and describe the mood under “Anything else we should know?” if you like. Click Fine-tune the playlist only to add genres, artists or other preferences.
- 3
Check the credit cost and click Build the playlist. The page shows “Choosing the songs…”, then “Checking every track is real…”. You can leave the page while it works.
- 4
When it is ready, remove or move songs, or click Refine to describe what should change. Refining rebuilds the list and costs credits again.
- 5
To save it, click Save to your music service, choose a service, connect your own account, find matching songs, review them and confirm the save. Uncertain or unavailable songs are skipped.
- 6
To keep a copy, click Download .m3u8, Download .csv or Copy all songs. To open one song in a music service, use Find on… next to it.
Expected result
The playlist shows its songs and total length. After a save, the songs that matched appear in a new playlist in your music service.
Important
Some songs may be marked Unverified: no music catalogue recognised them, so they may not exist. Remove them or look for them yourself before you play the playlist at an event.
Fix a problem
Problem: You see “AI playlists are included with Plus”.
What to doYour plan does not include AI playlists. Choose Explore Plus to change your plan. Trying again will not help.
Problem: The playlist shows “Couldn’t build this one”.
What to doYour credits are returned automatically. Choose Adjust and try again, keep your description simple, and rebuild.
Problem: A music service has no Connect account button.
What to doDirect saving is available only for services that offer Connect account. When direct saving is unavailable, use the track links to add songs yourself, or copy the song list.
