Workspace and branding
Configure white-label branding
Put your own name, logo, color, and web address on the pages your guests see.
What you will achieve
Your guest pages, vote pages, and memory wall show your brand instead of Sonize’s.
Before you start
- You need a role that can manage branding. White-label branding is part of the Pro plan; it is included for workspaces managed by a reseller.
- Prepare your brand name, a logo image (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 8 MB), an accent color, and, if you want one, a web address you own, such as events.yourbrand.com.
On the web
- 1
Open Settings. On the Account tab, open Workspace, then choose Branding.
- 2
Enter your Brand name. Under Logo, choose Upload logo and pick a PNG, JPG or WebP image of up to 8 MB. Sonize hosts the image for you and shows it in the Live preview; links to images on other websites are not accepted.
- 3
Pick an accent color from the suggestions or type a hex code such as #ff5441. Check in the Live preview that text stays easy to read.
- 4
If you want your own web address, enter it in Custom domain without https:// or a slash. An address that is reserved or already used by another workspace is refused.
- 5
Under Sonize badge, turn on Hide “Powered by Sonize” if you don’t want guests to see the Sonize mark.
- 6
Choose Save branding. A saved custom domain is not automatically live: add a CNAME record for it that points to the Sonize web app, then contact support so they can check the domain and set up its security certificate.
Expected result
Your guest pages show your name, logo, and color. Once support has switched the domain on, “Live on this domain.” appears under Custom domain.
Important
Branding is public: anyone with a link to your guest pages can see it. Only use a name and logo you have the right to use, and never put passwords or private links in these fields.
Fix a problem
Problem: You see “White-label branding is a Pro feature”.
What to doYour plan doesn’t include branding. Choose See plans, or ask the person who manages billing.
Problem: The logo or color is refused.
What to doFor the logo, upload a PNG, JPG or WebP image of 8 MB or less; other formats, such as SVG, are refused. For the color, type # followed by 3 or 6 characters (0 to 9, a to f), such as #ff5441, with no spaces.
Problem: The custom domain is saved but doesn’t open your pages.
What to do“Saved, not live yet” means the setup isn’t finished. Add the CNAME record, then contact support. If you change the address, this has to be done again.
Problem: Guest pages still show the old look.
What to doReload the page. If Branding shows the right values but guests still see the old look, contact support.
